Buprenorphine/Naloxone Sublingual Tablet _Manufactured by Faran Shimi Pharmaceutical Company_ is available in two dosage strengths, 2/0.5mg and 8/2mg. 10 tablets are packed in a blister and 10 blisters are packaged in one box with a leaflet.
Buprenorphine/Naloxone is indicated for maintenance treatment of opioid dependence. It should be used as part of a complete treatment plan to include counseling and psychosocial support.
• Use this drug as ordered by your doctor.
• Use one or two tablets daily, with the main meal and a full glass of water.
• Swallow whole. Do not chew, break, or crush.
• Avoid using more than the recommended dose.
• Tell your doctor and pharmacist about all of your drugs (prescription or OTC, natural products, vitamins)
• Medications for high blood pressure: saffron might lower blood pressure.
• Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan on getting pregnant.
• Tell your doctor if you are breastfeeding.
• Take a missed dose as soon as you think about it.
• If it’s close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your normal time.
• Do not take 2 doses at the same time or extra doses.
If you think there has been an overdose, call your doctor, pharmacist, or other health care provider right away.
• Hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation.
• Bipolar disorder: use with caution in patient with bipolar disorder.
• Diabetes: Saffron might affect blood sugar levels and cause hypoglycemia, use with caution in diabetic patient.
• Stop taking saffron at least two weeks before a scheduled surgery.
All drugs may cause side effect. However, many people have no side effects or only have minor side effects. Call your doctor or pharmacist if any of these side effects or any other side effects bother you or do not go away.
Saffron is likely safe in recommended amounts, nausea or vomiting, Headache and allergic reactions can occur in some people.
